Program Analyst/ Manager
Job Description
Program Analysts are responsible for assisting the Operations team on projects from pre-sales through delivery and close. More specifically, the Program Analyst assists with project evaluation, report generation, accuracy and maintenance, project burn reports, invoicing, resource allocation planning, legal document management, and vendor/PO procurement. The Program Analyst also conducts financial analysis, report on key staff/project metrics (weekly/monthly/ad hoc) and serves as a liaison between the Operations team and Finance, facilitating financial status updates for current projects on a weekly/monthly basis. The Analyst serves as the financial controller on one or more programs at any given time.
Internally, the Operations group plays the dual role of client advocate and Aricent-team advocate. Publicly, we are ambassadors to Aricent, our processes and our beliefs. We must ensure high quality work is delivered on time and on budget, create a supportive and efficient production environment and maintain and build on client relationships before, during, and after projects. Program Analysts will assist in facilitating these goals for the Operations team, and ensure program finances are fiscally fit.
Profile Description
• Support in terms of project set-up, report generation, accuracy and maintenance, project burn reports, invoicing, resource allocation planning, legal document management, and vendor/PO procurement.
• Resource planning and analysis versus weekly revenue reporting.
• Work with Finance group to analyze and report on key staff/project metrics, weekly forecast report, monthly financials and utilization metrics.
• Provide support to all disciplines and departments by gathering and analyzing financial data and/or maintenance of corporate business processes, procedures and policies.
• Assist with the creation of a variety of reports covering budget status, forecast reports and other management reports
• Assist finance with monthly close including coordination of PM reports and analyzing revenue discrepancies
• Ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as requested by management
Desired Profile
• Graduate/ Post Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field from any Renowned Institution only can apply.
• 3-5 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Knowledge of financial/accounting principles, practices, techniques, and tools (SAP a plus)
• Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
• Knowledge and appreciation of business concepts and requirements as applicable to an international software development companies
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, time-management and attention to detail a must.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills (special emphasis on intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills).
• Enthusiastic team player with an outgoing, positive attitude
• Ability to plan data preparation, analysis, and reporting process to ensure end result meets business timelines.
